Kathy D. Stallings

Kathy D. Stallings, age 70, of New Market, TN passed away December 31, 2021. She loved to spend her time running the nursery at New Market Baptist Church. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Estell Kerr “Byrd”; brothers, Tommy Kerr and Jackie Gilbert. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gary Stallings; son, Michael Stallings; daughter, Tammy (Jason) Ashley; grandchildren, Drew (Kayla) Stallings, Dylan Depietro, Devin Depietro, Haley Ashley, and Dylan Ashley; brother, Larry (Janie) Kerr; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Due to inclement weather the service times have changed, receiving of friends will be held 2:00 until 4:00 p.m at New Market Baptist Church Saturday, January 8, 2022 with a memorial service to follow. A graveside service will be held at Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery at a later date. In consideration of the health and safety of all those attending the services, Farrar Funeral Home strongly encourages all CDC guidelines to be followed, including the use of face masks.
