Kathy D. Hux Schubert

Kathy Dean Hux Schubert, age 65, was called home on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer. She was a faithful member and elder of Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Dandridge, TN.  She will be sadly missed by her many friends at Hopewell.  She was a great mother to many adopted cats and dogs over the years, especially Maggie.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Heptinstall Hux and father, Earl Hux.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Walter R. “Butch” Schubert; stepchildren, James F. Schubert and Toni Gayle Lawson; niece, Cherish Presley; nephews, Dean Stout and Bryan Stout; sisters, Earlene Thompson, Pam Anderson and Linda Anderson; brother, Curtis Ashe; and special friend, Linda Crock.

The family will meet and greet friends on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Hopewell Presbyterian Church from 10:00 – 11:00AM. Funeral Service will be at 11:00AM at the church with C.R.E. Tracy Cagle officiating.  Interment will follow the Funeral Service at Hopewell Cemetery.
