Kathleen "Kat" Holt Rines

KATHLEEN "KAT" HOLT RINES, age 86, of White Pine, TN was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 23, 2012 at Life Care Center in Morristown following a brief illness, surrounded by her family, who will dearly miss her. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Herbert T. "Hub" Rines; special son-in-law, Tommy Musick; parents, J. D. and Virgie Holt; and several sisters and brothers. "Kat" was a charter member of White Pine Free Will Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Rita Musick; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Evelyn Rines; daughter and son-in-law, Cookie and Glenn Hartsell, all of White Pine; six grandchildren, Lynn Musick, Shea and Leah Rines, Penny Leach, Ann Joyner and Glenda Mantooth; ten great-grandchildren and one sister, Gertie Calfee of Morristown. Family will receive friends Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul Lamb and Rev. Doug King officiating. Graveside interment service will be Friday, July 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in White Pine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Appalachian Outreach, 130 W. Old Andrew Johnson Highway, Jefferson City, Tn 37760.
