Kathleen R. Covington

KATHLEEN R. COVINGTON, age 81, of Dandridge, TN passed away Friday morning, December 25, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Luther and Clara Thomas and was preceded in death by son, Charles (Doc); 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Kathleen was a beloved mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Clyde (Johnny) and Chris Covington, Lee Covington, William (Buzz) and Belva Covington, Donald (Ray) and Ann Covington, William Travis Covington, Jessica Nicole Ann Covington; 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sisters, Grace Ann and Harold Hartgrove, Barbara and Jerry Mingie and Shirley Holzworth; daughter-in-law, Anita Covington; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Monday, December 28, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Covington and Rev. Eddie Smart officiating. Graveside interment service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Asbury Cemetery in Knox County. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, December 27, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. and Monday, December 28, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
