Kathie Faye (Harvey) Woolard

KATHIE FAYE (HARVEY) WOOLARD, age 55, of Jefferson City, TN and formerly of Snake Hollow (Sneedville), TN passed away at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2008 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. Member of Brown?s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She served as a teacher?s aide with the Jefferson County School System; and the Ameri Corps for Assisted Living. Those that knew Kathie realized that she was a very unique person who loved to help other people and would always put other?s needs before herself. Preceded in death by father, Gillis M. Harvey; brother, Steve Harvey; sister, Dorothy Harvey. She is survived by her husband, Danny Woolard; sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Misty Woolard of Talbott, Mark and Kristie Woolard of Talbott; grandchildren, Makaila Woolard and Cole Woolard, who were the lights of her life; mother and step-father, Icie and Boyd Howard of Mooresburg; sisters, Betty (Rick) Steadman of Tazewell, Anna (Doug ?Butch?) Greene of Sneedville, Debbie (Tracy) Rogers of Talbott, Connie Horton of Rogersville; brothers, Wade Harvey of Rogersville, John (Elizabeth) Harvey of Mooresburg, Jack (Patricia) Harvey of Sneedville, Junior, (Lisa) Harvey of Sneedville; special niece, Heather Rogers of Talbott; several nieces, nephews, and many special friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2008 from Yellow Springs Baptist Church with Reverend J. W. Dalton, Reverend Alonzo Collins and Reverend Ronald Winstead officiating. Interment to follow the service in the Harvey Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City and Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McNeil Funeral Home in Sneedville, TN.
