K. LuAnn Ducker

K. LuAnn Ducker, age 50, of Dandridge, TN passed away suddenly May 1, 2012 at home. She was a graduate of Doyle High School and The University of Tennessee School of Nursing. LuAnn was presently on inactive reserve status as Lt. Commander of the U. S. Navy and was a veteran of the Gulf War. She was currently employed by the Veterans Health Administration. Preceded in death by mother, Hilda Ducker; grandmother, Bessie Phillips; grandfather, G. Dewey Ducker. Survived by father, H. L. Ducker and wife Pat; sisters, Sheree Pittman, Tanya Finchum and husband Allen; niece, Jill Pittman; nephews, Curtis Finchum and Evan Pittman; grandmother, Minnie Bolden; aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends; and beloved dogs, Emma and Riley. Family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Farrar Funeral Home, with the service to follow at 7:00 p.m.with Rev. Mike Hensley officiating. Inurnment graveside service with military honors will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, The University of Tennessee Band Fund or to an animal rescue of your choice.
