She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Jefferson City, and a devoted wife to her husband, Carl Skeen, who preceded her in death. She enthusiastically supported the many activities of her ten children, 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and enjoyed playing duplicate bridge, attaining the level of Life Master in tournament play. She is preceded in death by husband Carl and daughter Dorothy, parents, Stacy and Roy Freels, brothers David and Harold, sister Evelyn Keels. She is survived by sons and daughter-in-laws David and Mala, Ronald and Jean, Clifford and Norma; daughters and son-in-laws Julie and Doug Moody, Cynthia and Frank Gioscia, Carla and Chris Moll, Mary and Danny Russell, Carolyn Skeen and Martha Skeen; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Family and friends will gather at 3:45 p.m Monday August 9, 2004 at Westview Cemetery for a 4:00 p.m graveside funeral service with Reverend Russ Weekly officiating. Friends may call at their convenience Monday from 9:00 a.m until 3:00 p.m at the funeral home prior to the graveside service.
