She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church (Mill Springs). Preceded in death by her husband, James Eldridge; parents, Lib and Nancy Spencer; four brothers and two sisters. Survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and William Allmon of Talbott, Louise and Dave Howard of Dandridge; sons and daughters-in-law, George and Joyce Eldridge of Jefferson City, Andrew and Charlene Eldridge of Jefferson City; sons, Frank Anderson of Jefferson City and Junior Eldridge of White Pine; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2007 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Sean Watson and Dr. Sonny Strange officiating. Family and friends will gather at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 5, 2007 at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Mill Springs Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Good Hope Baptist Church, 2691 Good Hope Church Road, New Market, TN 37820 or to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1916 Overlook Avenue, Jefferson City, TN 37760.
