Judson Allen Douglas

Judson Allen Douglas, born 6/1/25 in Newport, TN, died Monday April 27 at his daughter's home in Southport, NC. "Doug" is survived by his only child, Peggy Douglas Waterman and son in law Bill. Doug resided at the farm with Peggy and Bill since the passing of his beloved wife Georgia May Reese four years prior. They both passed in the same room and same home under family and Hospice care. Doug was the only son of Inez Williams and stepfather Charles Williams both of Newport, TN. After serving his country in the US Navy, Doug and Georgia were married. They resided in Morristown until his retirement from American Enka when they moved to Baneberry and proceeded to love their lives until Georgia's illness and death in 2011. They were lifetime members of First Baptist Church in Morristown. He was very much loved and brought joy and laughter in all the lives he touched. There will be a graveside service on Sunday, May 3 at 2:00 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Danny Georges officiating. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Hospice center of your choice.
