Juanita C. Woods

JUANITA C. WOODS, age 90, of Talbott, TN passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015 at home surrounded by her family after a long illness. She retired from Magnavox in 1990 after a long career. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, James C. Woods, Sr.; sons, Ronald D. Woods, James C. Woods, Jr.; mother, Ada Cox; father, Lenial Cox; infant brother, L. B. Cox. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn J. Fox (Thomas C. Fox); son, Charles Woods (Joan Woods); sisters, Judy Lawson, Mary Francis Denton, Trudie DeSanto; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Avalon Hospice for their compassionate care, and a special thanks to her daughter-in-law, Elaine Woods. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Boling and Horace Green officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday morning at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
