Joyce Bettis Swicegood

JOYCE BETTIS SWICEGOOD, age 76, of New Market, TN passed away June 4, 2009 at Ridgeview Terrace Nursing Home. She was a retired LPN and had worked at several area facilities. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Guy and Pearl Bettis; her husband, Hubert of Mocksville, NC; her son, Corky of New Market; her grandson, Shane Swicegood of Jefferson City. Surviving children and spouses are Jeffrey Swicegood of Greeneville, and Butch and Janet Stooksbury of Powell. She has three grandsons and several nieces and nephews. Graveside memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jerry Colbert officiating.
