Joyce Knowles Large

Joyce Large, age 77, of White Pine, TN passed away at UT Medical Center on Friday, June 12, 2015. She was a member of Nina Baptist Church for almost 50 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Large; brothers, J.T., Lovell, Herbert and Aaron Knowles; sister, Ruby Knowles Adcock; and her parents, Elmer and Jesse Mae Knowles. She is survived by her son, Roger Large of Memphis, and daughter, Terri Arwood of White Pine; grandson, Nicholas Large; sisters, Lois (Jim) Davis, Betty Jo (Charles) Atnip, and Ruth (Ronnie) Hobbs; also several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015, 3:00pm at Nina Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Norris officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00pm prior to the service. Graveside interment service will follow the funeral service in French Broad Church of the Brethren Church Cemetery.
