Joyce Evelyn Ramsey Denton

Joyce Evelyn Ramsey Denton, age 78 of Jefferson City passed away March 23, 2020. She was a member of French Broad Church of the Brethren Church for over 50 years and was a retiree of Levi Strauss and Joyce and Diane’s Cleaning Service. Joyce loved her church family, riding horses, hunting and fishing with her husband, planting her flowers, cooking and playing with her grands. She loved life and everyone that she met. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Bertha Ramsey; and brothers, James and Bobby Ray Ramsey. Joyce is survived by her husband of 63 years, Billy Edward Denton; daughter, Colleen Diane (Jack) Quisenberry; son, Charles David (Sharon) Denton; grandsons, Dustin Mitchell(Robin) Mantooth, Luke Edward (Kalynn) Quisenberry and Charles Daniel McClain; step great grandchildren, Richard and Abigail Campbell and special great grandson, Mitchell Edward Mantooth; sisters, Willie Champ and Betty Jean Hickman; several nieces, nephews and special friends; George and Robin Gantte and family. A private Graveside Service will be held at French Broad Church of the Brethren Cemetery with Pastor Justin Breeden officiating.
