Joy Gann Russell

JOY GANN RUSSELL, age 83, of New Market, TN passed away Thursday evening, October 14, 2010. She was a member of the McCampbell's Chapel United Methodist Church and was retired from the Jefferson County School System as cafeteria manager following 27 years of service. Joy was a beloved wife, mother, and sister who was dedicated to her family and friends and will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Russell; parents, Charlie and Bernice Ward Gann, Sr.; brother, Charlie Gann, Jr. She is survived by her son, Rick Russell; sisters, Sally Jones, Earline Robinson and Blendean Wilson, all of Jefferson City, Wanda Wilson of Strawberry Plains; brothers, Robert M. Gann of Mascot and Teddy Gann of Rutledge; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Sherry Franklin officiating. Interment graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at McCampbell's Chapel Cemetery.
