Joy M. Darby

Joy M. Darby, age 78 of Jefferson City, TN passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the home of her daughter in Pulaski, TN. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur T. Darby, brothers and sisters, Louise Ogle, Charlie, Junior, J.C., and Stanley McCarter. She was a person that was full of life and loved her family. She will be deeply missed by all her family, friends, and everyone that knew her. She is survived by her children, Lisa and Arnold Roderick, Loretta and Ben Smith, Jay and Jennifer Darby, and James and Susan Darby, grandchildren, Tiffany, Aaron, Sean, Devin, Erica, Rick, Amber, Colby, Alex, Elisabeth, Leah, and Alex Lewandowski, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, sister, Wilma Rogers, and long-time loving friend and companion, Gerald Parton. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating. Friends may pay their respects from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Farrar Funeral Home prior to the graveside service. In consideration of the health and safety of all those attending the services, Farrar Funeral Home strongly encourages all CDC guidelines be followed, including the use of face masks.
