Josie Elizabeth (Bootsie) Swann

JOSIE ELIZABETH (BOOTSIE) SWANN, age 77, of Dandridge, TN passed away on Friday, April 10, 2009 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the New Beginning Church of God, a former employee of Jefferson County Nursing Home, Tennessee Handbags and Dollywood. She also enjoyed sewing and working with crafts. Preceded in death by husband, Carl L. Swann. She is survived by five children, Ronnie (Ila) Swann of Newnan, GA, Connie (Bruce) Gilpin, Billy (Donna) Swann, Tim (Diane) Swann, and Chris Swann, all of Dandridge; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; half-sisters, Doris Moore and husband, Roger, and Jo Morie, both of Dandridge; half-brother, Joe Moore of Bean Station. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2009 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Reverend Darrell Bewley officiating. Entombment committal service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Reverend Troy Duncan officiating.
