Josephine Kuykendall

JOSEPHINE DIXON KUYKENDALL, age 86, of New Market, TN passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at her home. Preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Lee Kuykendall; daughter, Linda Henry; brothers, Clifford, Guymon and Dillard Dixon; parents, Dave and Montie Jo Dixon; grandson, Kris Henry. She is survived by sons, Wayland (Ida) Kuykendall, George (Barbara) Kuykendall, Douglas (Patricia) Kuykendall, John Kuykendall, Michael (Carolyn) Kuykendall and Robert Kuykendall; daughters, Jean (Rex) Steelmon, Montie White and Cathy (Dan) Denton; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Louise Carroll. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2008 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Donnie Kuykendall officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 12:00 noon Sunday at the funeral home to proceed to Indian Ridge Cemetery in Grainger County for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service.
