Joseph Marion Woody

JOSEPH MARION WOODY, age 71, of South Knoxville passed away August 18, 2014. He was born March 22, 1943 to the late Gray and Edith McTeer Woody. He was employed by Rocky Top Tours. Preceded in death be sister, Alice Woody McLemore Morris; brothers-in-law, Murrell McLemore and Ray Morris; mother and father-in-law, Paul and Myrtle Whillock. He is survived by wife of 47 years, Polly Whillock Woody; sons and daughter-in-law, Joseph Paul (Amy) Woody, and Greg Woody; granddaughters, Peyton, Cameron, Amber and Morgan Woody; brother and sister-in-law, Jim (Barbara) Woody; sisters-in-law, Wanda (Norman) Terrell, Cretia (Charlie) Harkleroad; several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to UT Medical center Hospice. Graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Highland South Memorial Park with Rev. Charlie Harkelroad officiating.
