JOSEPH WILLIAM PERROTTO went to be in the arms of his Heavenly Father on April 15, 2014, after a struggle with Lou Gehrig’s disease. Joe was born in Miami, Florida on May 3, 1951 to Francis J. Perrotto and Catherine V. Perrotto. Joe and his wife Mary moved to Tennessee in 2008, after he retired from Broward County Transit as a diesel mechanic for 34 years. Joe is preceded in death by his father, Francis Perrotto; his twin brother, Leonard Perrotto, and brother, Nick Perrotto. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Perrotto; his mom, Catherine V. Perrotto; sister, Christine F. Russell (Frank); and nephews, Tony and Paul Russell; sister, Regina Perrotto and nephew, Nicholas Perrotto; daughter, Nicole Perrotto and granddaughter, Nia Williams (Palatka, FL); daughter Melissa Parish (Shawn) grandchildren, Briana, Cheyanna, Shane and Jade (Palatka, FL); stepsons, Grady L. Moree and Brian J. Moree (Tammy) and grandson, Justin (Kennesaw, GA); Joe’s first wife, Barbara White (Buster) (Palatka, FL); cousins, Ronald W. Bailey (Nadlyn) and Carroll "Jeff" Craigmyle; niece, Lisa Santiago and daughter, Jessica Santiago; niece, Carol Ann Diaz (Manny), children, Alexy, Jayme & Ahren. Joe was a very sensitive man, loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, with strong moral values. Joe loved his family and friends dearly. He loved his dachshunds, Roxy and Harley and they gave him lots of happiness. Joe loved college football and working on his many projects – Joe loved helping others and was always available to make repairs. Joseph was a member of Deep Springs Baptist Church. The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, April 19, 2014 between 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services to follow at 4:00pm with Pastor Chad Chambers officiating. The family will have a private burial at Chattanooga Memorial Park, Chattanooga, TN.
