Joseph "Joe" Edward Horner

Joseph “Joe” Horner, age 46, of Talbott, TN passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2022. He was a member of McBride Missionary Baptist Church. He graduated from Jefferson County High School and attended MTSU. Joe had a love for knowledge, video games, books and music. He was an avid gardener, gamer and musician. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edward Dewitt Horner; grandmother, Brunelle “Boots” Bragg Beeson; step-grandparents, Wallace and Cleo “Blondie” Cope. He is survived by his mother, Kathi Cope and stepfather, Larry Cope; grandmother, Mrs. Edward  (Imojean) Horner; aunts, Pam (Duane) Justis and Beverly (Glenn) Lichlyter; cousins who loved him and looked up to him like a big brother, Jessica (Davy) Albright, Dillon Lichlyter, Brittney (Brandon) Ballinger and Dennie Justis; their children who absolutely adored him, Blakely Justis, Beau Ballinger, Dayne Albright, Bryley and Brooklenn Lichlyter; several friends and family who he always met with a smile and left with a big hug. He will be loved and missed for all time. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 6, 2022  from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Rev. William Bradley and Rev. Bill Collett officiating.
