Joseph Dexter Henry

Joseph (Joe) Henry, age 89 of Dandridge passed away January 29, 2020 after a lingering illness. Joe served in the Army during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents, Farmalt and Ruth Henry, 1st wife Emma (Midge) Eslinger Henry and infant daughter, brother, John Henry and sister, Thelma Smelcer, 2nd wife, Anna Miller Henry and 3rd wife Louise Green. Joe is survived by daughter, Ruth Ann Potts, son, Mike Henry (Lavonna), step-daughters, Cindy Hall and Anna Milligan, grandchildren, Shannen Reece, Crystal Carrier, Chris Holt, Jessica Turner, Cody Milligan and Amber Trentham, great grandchildren, Matthew Hughes, Michael Hughes, Katelyn Reece, Madison Reece, Dayton Dalton and Dawson Trentham, Easton and Brylee Holt and close friends, Al Large, Gary Griffin, Jim and Mary Vanhattern, Gail Potts, Richard Donahoo, Jerry Phillips and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Friday, January 31, 2020 at 7:00 PM at the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Dandridge with Rev. Jerry Colbert officiating. Family visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM prior to the service. Graveside interment will be 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Hills Union Cemetery.
