Jonas "Jay" Cooper

JONAS “JAY” COOPER, age 44 of Dandridge, TN, passed away Saturday afternoon, February 18, 2023, at his home after a battle with cancer. He was a 1996 graduate of Jefferson County High School and was an employee of Patty Construction Company of Friendsville, TN. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Perry and Polly French and Jonas and Dora Cooper; father, Darrell Cooper and is survived by his son, Skylar Cooper; mother, Teela French; stepsons, Jace Cooper and Ely Taylor; sister, Rhoda (Robbie) Tipton; nephew, Robbie G. Tipton; niece, Carlie Tipton; and aunts, Nancy French, Sue Reno and Diane Hellard. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at 2194 Sockless Road, Dandridge, TN 37725.
