Mrs. Johnny Morie Miller, age 74 of Dandridge, Tn passed away Monday, November 17, 2003 at her home following a brief illness. She was a very special lady and a devoted wife and mother to her family. Johnny was loved by all who knew her and always had a cheerful smile for the patrons at Tinsley-Bible Drug Store, a place she dearly loved to work. She was a devoted, lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church of Dandridge, and a member of the ladies Auxillary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She is survived by Jason, her husband of 53 years; daughters, Gail miller and Ann Fox (Ricky) of Dandridge; and son, Darrell Miller (Pamela) of Kodak; brother, Billy M. Morie (Dorothy) of Morristown and brother in law, Howard Miller (Dorothy) of Morristown; special friend and cousin, Vicki Kesterson of Dandridge; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Nancy Olden of Dandridge, who was a very special lifelong firend to Johnny and her family. funeral services will be Wednesday, 8:00 p.m. at the Dandridge First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Moore officiating. Interment graveside services Thursday, 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. prior to services at the church.
