He was a member and deacon of Unity Baptist Church in White Pine and was retired from Lea Industries after 43 years of service. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 56 years, Lorine Holt Arwood. He is also survived by his children; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Johnny Cook, daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Gene Fraley; son and daughter-in-law, David and Angela Matrin Arwood; grandchildren, Michael Cook, Tayden Edmonds, Joshua Fraley and Victoria Fraley, and Nathan Arwood; along with many close family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2006 at the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Reverend John Gilbert, Reverend Glenn Rines and Reverend Terry Michaels officiating. Graveside interment service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2006 at the White Pine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
