Johnathan Smith

Johnathan Colby Smith, age 36, of Morristown, TN passed away on December 29, 2020. He was a loving father who loved to spend his time fishing and playing music, especially the tin whistle. He was also a welder. Preceded by his grandparents, Charles and Nancy Smith; uncle, Timmy Marcum; stepsister, Tiffany Watts; and cousin Brian Russell. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Smith; daughter, Asa Smith; mother and dad, Shari and Dwayne Moody; father, John Smith; brothers, Joshua (CJ) Smith and Paul Smith; sister, Jessie (Robbie) Wheeler; mother-in-law, Donna Norris; father-in-law, Danny Norris; brother-in-law, Danny Norris II; grandparents, Charles and Francis Marcum; grandmother, Dolores Miller; several nieces and nephews as well as many other family members who loved him dearly. Friends and family will gather at 1:45PM Monday, January 4, 2021 at Hamblen Memory Gardens for a 2:00PM graveside with Rev. Mel Hawkins. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations to be made to Farrar Funeral Home to help with funeral costs. In consideration of the health and safety of all those attending the services, Farrar Funeral Home strongly encourages all CDC guidelines be followed, including the use of face masks.
