John Paul Russell

JOHN PAUL RUSSELL, age 79, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away December 27, 2006 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of McCampbell's Chapel United Methodist Church, where he was the song leader for many years. Retired employee of JFG Coffee Company with 47 years of service and a veteran of the US Air Force. Preceded in death by his great grandson, Brandon Stoffle; parents, Perry Leon and Veta Tipton Russell; brother, Glenn Russell. He is survived by his wife, Hilda Snyder Russell; daughters, Claudia Russell (Jim) Falin and Jama Russell (Rick) Hickman; grandchildren, Tana Ball, Dana Stoffle, Chad Stoffle and Brent Hickman; great grandchildren, Cody Ball, Logan Stoffle and Garret Stoffle; step-grandchild, Christopher Lile; brother, Perry (Buddy) Russell; several nices and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2006 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Reverend Ronnie White officiating. graveside interment service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Paw Paw Hollow Cemetery with military honors by East Tennessee Honor Guard.
