John Murphy

JOHN F. MURPHY (MOOSE), age 59, departed this life on October 13, 2021. John was the owner of Murphy’s Sav-Mor Drug. He was a car enthusiast, a lover of drums, and a dedicated family man. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Georgia Murphy; and his father-in-law, James E. Aaron. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Jamie Aaron Murphy; two daughters, Brandi Murphy (Adam), and Jacklyn Murphy (Evan); brother, Mark Murphy (Lisa) of Shelbyville, TN; and one niece, Taylor M. Murphy of Shelbyville, TN. Friends may pay their respects from 12 noon until 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held in the future at a time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the charity of your choise.
