John Wastcoat Lloyd

John Wastcoat Lloyd, born April 4, 1948, age 75, SMSGT USAF (Ret) passed away on December 3, 2023, at Jefferson City Health and Rehab.

A native of Weiser, Idaho, Mr. Lloyd was the son of the late Clinton Parke Lloyd and Josephine Wastcoat Lloyd.

He is survived by his wife of 12 ½ years, Carol Truitt Lloyd; his children, Stephanie Boone Lloyd of Indianapolis, Indiana; a step-son, Stuart Dean Curtis retired United States Army Major and his wife Tia of Leavenworth, Kansas; sisters, Martha Gilroy of Jeffery, New Hampshire, Jeanne McCowan of Houston, Texas; and five grandchildren, Spencer, Emma-Leigh (Nate) Waits, Emma Shea, Ethan, and Samuel; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Lloyd proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 24 years during the Vietnam era. He also retired after 20 years with Federal Express Corporation and was a member of Nina Baptist Church in White Pine, TN where he was well loved and will be sadly missed.

The family will receive friends at Farrar Funeral Home Dandridge, TN on December 13, 2023, from 4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. Graveside Funeral services will be held on December 14, 2023, at 10:00a.m. at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 East Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920. Military Honors will be rendered by the Robbins Air Force Base with Rev. Jimmy Norris officiating.
