"JACK" DENTON, age 88, of Talbott, TN went to be with the Lord on Thursday morning, September 6, 2007 after a brief battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by infant daughter, Angela; father and mother, Mel and Francis Denton; brothers, Bill, Jim and Shields Denton; sisters, Elanor Phillip and Swanie Myers. He is survived by wife of 54 years, Mary Evelyn Denton; son and daughter-in-law, Jackie and Karen Denton; daughter, Sue Russell; daughter and son-in-law, Marty and Earl Reagan; grandchildren, Kim Denton, Kristy Denton, Lynn and Billy Reagan, Chris and Teara Denton; great-grandchildren, David Matthews, Sean Arnold, Noah and Mary Carr, Justin and Renee Denton; brother, Roger Denton; sisters, Jane Watts, Louise Ailey and Jean Holbert; several nieces and nephews; along with several special friends. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2008 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
