John Franklin Hamilton

John F. Hamilton, age 73 of New Market, TN, passed away at 2:35 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at UT Hospital following an extended illness.  He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Mildred Hamilton.  He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Judy Hamilton, sons, John and James Hamilton, both of New Market, TN, daughter, Becky (John) Gann of Morristown, TN, grandchildren, Tyler Hutsell, Amber Flynn, and Morgan Hamilton, great grandchildren, Aiden and Lily Flynn, sister, Norma (Gary) Lee, In-Laws, Nancy and Bobby McLendon, Bonnie Mayes, Janet Upton, and Jerry and Debbie Snyder, and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Hayes officiating.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.  Graveside interment service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Piney Cemetery.
