John D. Ellerbe

John D. Ellerbe, age 47, of Dandridge, TN passed away Tuesday morning June 27,2017 at Physicians Regional Medical Center, Knoxville. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dandridge and was self-employed. John was born April 10, 1970 to John Shelton Sr. and Joyce Ellerbe in Clermont FL. On May 17, 1991 he married his wife Angie (Ousely) Ellerbe. John was a devoted husband, father, brother, nephew and friend and will be greatly missed by all that new him. He is survived by his father, John Shelton Sr.; wife Angie; daughters, Alyssa, Brooke, Caitlyn, Hailey, Brianna, Courtney; brothers, Ricky (Phyllis) Gibson, Alfred Ellerbe, Carrol Ellerbe, Nathan Ellerbe, James Shelton and John Shelton; sisters, Doretha (Jerry) Fuhr, Christy Mcbride, Angela Reaves, Karen Rowan; as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred Bogan Ellerbe and Joyce Ellerbe, and nephews Ricky and Daniel Gibson. Funeral services will be held Sunday July 2, 2017, 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Dandridge with Dr. Justin Terrell officiating. Internment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends Saturday evening from 5 to 7 pm at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge.
