John C. Craig

JOHN C. CRAIG, SR., age 69, of New Market, TN passed away at his residence on Sunday, May 17, 2015 following an extended illness. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa and brother. He was retired from Valley Protein after 30 years as a truck driver. He worked his earlier Years at Blakes Poultry Farm. Preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mary Craig; brother, Toby Craig; and sister, Laura Brooks. Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Trudy Craig; children, John (Laura) Craig, and Debbie (Larry) Herron; grandchildren, Larry and Wesley Herron; sisters, Hazel Arnold and Margaret Denton; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Boling officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
