John E. Calfee

John E. Calfee, age 65 of New Market, born August 30, 1947, to Gwyn and Margaret Calfee in White Pine, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2012. John was an Air Force Veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his wife; Joyce Calfee and mother; Margaret Calfee. Survivors include his daughter; Melissa Sparks, grandson; Joseph (Lura) Calfee-Vittetoe, granddaughter; Heather Sparks and great-granddaughter; Leah Lain Calfee-Vittetoe, father; Gwyn Calfee, brothers; Tony, Jerry, Danny and Jimmy and sister; Ginger, also several nieces, nephews and other family members. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2012, 4:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with the Rev. Curtis Calfee officiating, family will receive friends from 3-4:00pm prior to the service. The family has requested that In Lieu of Flowers memorial donations be made to: Smokey Mountains Children?s Home, 449 McCarn Circle, Sevierville, TN 37862.
