John Ell Adkins Jr.

JOHN ELL ADKINS, Jr., age 46 of Dandridge, TN, formerly of Greasey Creek, KY, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022, in Knoxville. He was a member of Full Gospel Ministry and previously worked at The Point in Dandridge. He was a loving father and husband, and he never met a stranger. John is preceded in death by his parents, John Ell Adkins, Sr., and Karen McDonald Adkins Bell. He is survived by his wife, BJ Adkins; children, Caleb Adkins, McKenzie Craig, Kelsie Mae Adkins; mother-in-law, Debra Gannon; sisters, Ginger Ramsey (Michael) and Mary Ray (Steve) of NC; brother, Jerry Adkins (Melinda); and several nieces and nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 7:00pm with Reverend Troy Duncan officiating. An interment will take place on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 10:00am at Hills Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Farrar Funeral Home to help with expenses.
