Joe T. Maples

JOE T. MAPLES,, age 82, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at home.  Preceded in death by parents, Tom and Ardie Maples; several brothers and sisters.  He was a retired Sgt. Major of the U.S. Army after 30 years of service.  He was of the Baptist faith who loved God and his country.  Survived by wife, Ann Maples; children, Julie and Joey Maples, Kim, Eddie and Chris Millington; sister, Edna Tolliver; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Tolliver officiating.  Graveside service will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.  Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
