Joe M. French, Jr

Joe M. French, Jr. age 81 of Dandridge, TN passed away Wednesday evening February 1, 2023, following a brief illness.  Joe was born August 22, 1941 in Dandridge, TN to the late Mack and Naomi (Foster) French.  Joe was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era and retired from the human resources and personnel division of TVA after 30 years of service.  Joe was never married but enjoyed his circle of friends and living on his family’s homeplace. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Johnny, and Robert French; sisters, Emma Holbert and Norma France and he is survived by his brother, Wayne (Trula) French; several nieces,  nephews and cousins and longtime special friends and caregivers, Arnaze and Kathy Cantrell and sons, Blake and Cody (Laura) Cantrell who cared for Joe very much.  The family extends their sincere appreciation to CenterWell Home Health and the staff of Jefferson Park for their loving care.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 5, 2023, 2:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:00 to 2:00   prior to services at the funeral home.  The interment committal  service will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.  ARRANGEMENTS BY FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE, TN
