He was a native of Dandridge and was the son of the late. R. T. and Celeste Â?SisterÂ? Henry Felknor. Joe Mike was a graduate of Maury High School, class of 1974, and the University of Tennessee Law School. He was a prominent attorney and practiced law in the Knoxville area for over 20 years. Survived by wife, Gloria B. Felknor and son, R. T. Felknor, both of Knoxville; brother, Ted Felknor of Dandridge; several aunts, cousins and friends. Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2006 at Shady Grove Cemetery with Dr. Robert McCray officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Knox County Animal Shelter, 3201 Division Street, Knoxville, TN 37919.
