JoAnn Vesser Lockett

JOANN VESSER LOCKETT, of Talbott, TN, born August 18, 1948 went to be with the Lord on the 10th day of November, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Lockett II; mother and father, Jim and Bernice Vesser; brother, Bobby Vesser; sisters, Sherri Vesser and Evelyn Vesser. She is survived by her son, Bryan H. Lockett and wife, Jessica, and grandchildren, Zoe and Ben of Clinton, TN; sister, Janice Givens and husband Terry of Rutledge, TN, and nephew, Todd Givens of Houston, TX; sister, Debby Corbin and husband Jim of Farragut, TN; nieces, Deanna Huff and Janet Hinkle, both of Dandridge, TN; brother, James Vesser and wife Amanda of New Market, TN; nieces, Brianna and Brooklynn Vesser, and Mindy Brooks; sister, Terri Vesser of Knoxville, TN; mother-in-law, Joyce Lockett; along with great nieces and nephews and other beloved friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 5401 Kingston Pike, Suite 230, Knoxville, TN 37919, or the Hamblen or Jefferson County Animal Shelters. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning, November 14, 2015 at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside funeral interment service.
