Joan Elizabeth Vaughan

JOAN ELIZABETH VAUGHAN, age 73, of New Market, TN passed away Monday, August 11, 2008. She had lived in Rocky Valley since 1973. An avid gardner, she was active in the Martha Dandridge Garden Club, the Glenmore chapter of the APTA and the Jefferson County Historical Society. She is survived by sons, William and Joseph Thompson; daughters-in-law, Kimberly Hodges Thompson and Beverly Schneider; and grandchildren, William, Andrew and Mallie Thompson. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City with Reverend Dennis Maxey officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Glenmore Victorian Mansion, P.O. Box 403, Jefferson City, TN 37760.
