She was a member of George Street United Methodist Church since 1957. Preceded in death by parents, Joe and Grace Romines; brothers, Jim Romines, Buddy Romines, Dennis ?Dink? Romines; sisters, Helen Allen and Mary Hart. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ray Fain; son, Chris Fain and friend, Laura Holt; daughter, Sammie Fain and friend, Tim Cox; brothers, Harold ?Woody? Romines of New Market, Jack Romines of White Pine; sisters, Hazel Rimmer of Dandridge, Barbara ?Sudie? Franklin of Clinton; numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Ruth and Walter Byard for their tireless help during this time and to all her special friends on the Cancer (8th) floor of Ft. Sanders Regional, and also to Richard and Linda in admitting. Graveside interment service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 6, 2006 at Shady Grove Cemetery with Reverend Ginger Isom officiating.
