Joan Carol Fox

Joan C. Fox, age 85, of the Briar Thicket community, went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 26, 2014 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare Systems. Joan worked as a nurse at Regency Nursing Home before retiring. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Henry Clay Fox, father, George Bratusek and mother, Hazel Dvoark of Cleveland, OH and one brother, George Bratusek of San Antonio, Texas. She is survived by two sons, Greg (Janice) Fox of Donalds, SC, Jimmy (Tammy) Fox of Mohawk, one daughter, Theresa (James) Ball of Bean Station, five grandchildren, Chris (Jenny) Ball of Blaine, Matthew Ball of Bean Station, Clay Fox of Knoxville, Kevin (Kelly) Ashley and Keith (Amy) Ashley of Greenwood, SC also seven great-grandchildren. Joan was a member of Point Pleasant Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with the Rev. John Rogers officiating, family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the service. Family and Friends are asked to meet at Point Pleasant Cemetery on Monday, December 29, 2014 for the 10:00am graveside interment service. The family has requested that In Lieu of Flowers memorial donations be made to The Point Pleasant Cemetery Fund.
