She was a long time member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Jefferson City. Jo Ann, along with her husband, Jimmy, were long time owners and operators of Fancy Foliage Greenhouses. She was an active member in the Chamber of Commerce for several years, as well as being on the board of directors. Preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Mary Bowlin; brother, Maurice Bowlin and father-in-law, Ralph Davis. She leaves behind her husband of 48 years, Jimmy Ralph Davis; daughter, Terri Manley; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Christie Davis; grandchildren, Stephanie Manley, Autumn, Lauren and Kaitlyn Davis; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Dale Horner; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Sonja Bowlin; sister-in-law, Vivian Bowlin; mother-in-law, Ruth Davis; sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Ray Eller; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Bill Hensdill; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Nadine Davis, along with several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; special friends, Ralph and Janet Vest, Marty and Beverly Simons. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2005 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Dr. Sonny Strange officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 9:00 on Friday, May 20, 2005 to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
