Jimmy Slone

JIMMY SLONE, age 73, passed away on April 6, 2021. Jimmy was a coal miner for 30 years and served in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his son, James Donald Slone; parents, James Walker and Berchie Slone; and brothers, Bobby (Marcie) Slone and Benny (Jane) Slone. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Slone; daughter, Jeana (Dale) Slone Caughron; grandchildren, Bailey (Jeremy) Salisbury, Terra (Jordan) Justice, Devan (Trittney) Slone, Dylan (Erica) Slone, Sarah (Nick) Slone Hall, Sarina Caughron, Mason Caughron and Haley Caughron; great-grandchildren, Easton Salisbury and Kylah Salisbury, Aiden Justice, Ashtyn Slone, Harlyn Slone, Laikyn Slone, Mackynzi Slone, Jaelynn Slone, Averie Hall, Emery Hall, Olivia Hall, Allie Kirby, Westlley Kirby and Chase Kirby; and sisters, Betty (Billy) Ratliff and Loretta (Harvey) Smith. Mr. Slone will lie in state at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge Chapel on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 10:00 until 6:00pm. There will be a service on Saturday, April 10, 2021 in Pikeville, KY at Thacker Memorial.
