Jimmy Dale Hammond

Jimmy D. Hammond, age 84 of White Pine, passed away at Park West Medical Center on Friday, April 8, 2016, after a brief illness. He was a member of Leadvale Baptist Church, a member of Leadvale Masonic Lodge, a member of the White Pine American legion Post #201, he was an Army Veteran where he served during the Korean War, and retired from American Enka after many years of service as a Pipe Fitter. He is preceded in death by his parents; John and Mable Burris Hammond and brother, Glen Hammond. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Moss Hammond and several other family members and friends. The family has requested that In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Donations be made to Leadvale Baptist Church, 845 Leadvale Church Road, White Pine, TN 37890. There will be a Masonic Service on Monday, April 11, 2016, 7:00pm followed by a Funeral Service at Leadvale Baptist Church, with the Rev. Charlie Harkleroad and Rev. Charles Robison officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the services. Military Graveside interment will be on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, 2:00pm in White Pine Cemetery.
