Jimmy Ralph Davis

JIMMY RALPH DAVIS, age 76, of New Market, TN passed away at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. He was owner and operator of Fancy Foliage Wholesale Distributors for 30 plus years. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, JoAnn Bowlin Davis. He is survived by his daughter, Terri Davis and son, Mark Davis, both of New Market; granddaughters, Stephanie Manley, Lauren and Kaitlyn Davis; sister and brother-in-law, Ray and Irene Eller of Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Nadine Davis of Rutledge, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Bill Hensdill of Rogersville, TN; sisters-in-law, Linda and Dale Horner, Vivian Bowlin, and Sonya Bowlin; several nieces and nephew; special family friend, Beverly Simons. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2012 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Sonny Strange officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012 to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
