JIM S. SEAHORN, age 59 of Dandridge, TN passed away peacefully Monday morning, March 9, 2009 following a battle with cancer. He was raised in the Chestnut Hill community of Dandridge and was a graduate of Maury High School and the University of Tennessee. Jim was a prominent, hard working self-employed businessman and was an avid sportsman and hunter who enjoyed the outdoors and was a member of the Ducks Unlimited. Preceded in death by his mother, Louise Sartain Seahorn. Survived by wife, Marilyn Cagle Seahorn; father, James P. ?Bud? Seahorn; special friend, Lee Wallace and many other friends, associates and employees. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lonesome Pine Farm in Loudon County, TN. The directions to the location are: From Knoxville, take I-75 south to exit 72 (Hwy 72) Loudon exit. Turn right and go west on Hwy 72 for 3 miles. During the 3 miles you will pass a TVA boat ramp on the right, then go through a long "S" curve. After the long "S" curve, the road will straighten out for a long stretch and heads south. After 1/4 mile on the straight stretch look for an old barn and tan storage container on a hill to the right. When you see the barn and storage container, then look for the cable gate on the right and take the gravel road on the right to the barn.
