OBITUARY:
GENEVA (JESSIE RAY) BOATMAN GANN BRINKLEY, age 74 of Jefferson City, TN, passed away Sunday morning, January 2, 2005 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She was a retired Magnavox employee and was preceded in death by her parents, Arville and Cotton Boatman; husbands, John Gann, Jr. and Ray Brinkley and son, Johnny Lee Gann. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Kitty and Darrayl Cannon of DeBary, Florida; two granddaughters, Traci Farr of Lexington, South Carolina and Marla Cannon of Lake Mary, Florida; one grandson, Kris Cannon of Ocala, Florida; three great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Tristan and Austin Cannon; sister, Betty Kate Boatman of Jefferson City; sisters-in-law, Mary Smith, Kathleen Gann and Margaret Gann; brother-in-law and wife, Bud and Betty Gann; several cousins and great nieces. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2004 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend William Bradley officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2004 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
