Jessie "Sally" Atkins

Jessie “Sally” Elizabeth Collins Atkins, age 84, of White Pine, TN, passed away at UT Medical Center Hospital on August 18, 2020 as a result of injuries sustained in automobile accident. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband ,Franklin Atkins; parents, Sarah and Ira “Dick” Alexander Collins ;and siblings, Rolan Collins Sr, Carol Collins, Donald Collins, Larry Collins and Wanda “Cookie” Kimbrough. Sally is survived by sisters, Hazel Smith and Shirley Collins; daughter, Susan Atkins Nieves-Campos of Lake Ridge, Virginia; grandchildren, Alexander Graves, Franklin Graves and Chelsie Graves Del Gaudio; and great-grandchildren, Gia Grace Del Gaudio, Sebastian Luke Del Gaudio, Alexis Elizabeth Graves, Summer Dawn Stanley, Ava Grace Graves, Ace Alexander Graves and Ansley Kate Powers. In consideration of the health and safety of all, the family will have a private viewing on Sunday, August 23, 2020, at the funeral home. Interment will be in White Pine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations be made to Shriners Hospital, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or the charity of your choice.
