Jerry B Tipton

Jerry B. Tipton, age 73, of Dandridge passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2018. He was a Grand Master 33rd Degree Mason with the French Broad Lodge #588. Jerry was an avid musician that has played at many different local venues during his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Butler Clyde and Stella Florence Gray Tipton; his wife, Anita Tipton; two sons, Jerry an infant and Michael Anthony Tipton; two sisters, Caroline Hayes and Judy Rush; and brother Eugene Tipton. Jerry is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Joan Hance; daughter, Lisa Tipton; grandchildren, Spencer and Emilee Merritt and Ambur and Devin Tipton; great grandchildren, Zabrayah and Braelynn Merritt; brothers, Danny Ray, Steve and Richard Tipton; sisters, Pat Heath and Brenda Foreman along with several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held, Sunday, June 17, 2018, 2:00pm at Hillcrest Cemetery with Pastor Gary Ball officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge.
