Jerry Marshall Price

JERRY MARSHALL PRICE, age 55, of Dandridge, TN passed away Saturday morning, January 28, 2012 at his home. He was born on August 27, 1956 in Knoxville, TN. He is survived by his parents, Lige and Mary Belle Price; his daughters and their husbands, Brenda Mize (Kevin), and Amanda Schoap (Jonathan); four grandchildren, Lily and Samuel Mize and Anderson and Emily Schoap; brother, Terry Price (Sue); nephew, Terry Price, Jr.; sister, Carol Merritt; niece and nephew, Randy and Sarah Merritt. Jerry was selflessly dedicated to caring for his parents, and when he wasn't with them, you could find him on Cherokee Lake with fishing rod in hand. He was an amazing cook and an incredibly talented carpenter and handyman. He had an unmistakable sense of humor that was contagious to everyone around him and a personality that kept everyone entertained. To his grandchildren, whom he dearly loved, he was Pappaw Jerry - the best pappaw in the whole world. Jerry is so loved and his life will be forever cherished by all those that he touched along the way. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 4708 Papermill Drive, Knoxville, TN 37909-1972. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Rock Hollifield officiating. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery with military honors.
